Website & inquiry terms

An inquiry does not book admission.

Indianapolis Zoo visitor information helps you prepare questions and plan your time. These terms explain what an Indianapolis Zoo admission inquiry does, what a planning estimate cannot establish and which rights remain yours. This site takes inquiries, not payments.

The operator behind this site.

These website and inquiry terms are with Indianapoliszoo, trading at indianapoliszoo.us. The website uses the name Indianapolis Zoo for its visitor-planning information. The operator's postal address is:

1200 WEST WASHINGTON STREET, INDIANAPOLIS, IN 46222 4552, INDIANAPOLIS, IN, United States

Contact the operator at [email protected] or (317) 630-2040. These channels are for questions about the website as well as visit inquiries. Publishing an address does not establish an entry point, available parking or the location of a particular visitor facility.

The terms concern your use of this website and the messages you send through it. They are not an admission ticket and do not replace any separately communicated conditions that apply to an actual admission purchase. The about page sets out the editorial scope without making claims about institutional history or affiliations.

Preparation, not a live schedule.

This website provides visitor-planning guidance for a zoo day in INDIANAPOLIS, IN. You can consider personal priorities, send an admission question and work out an estimated time allowance from your own inputs. The topic pages organize questions; they do not list separately bookable experiences or goods.

The visit preparation page discusses what you may want to ask before leaving. It does not establish that every suggested item is allowed on the grounds. The Indianapolis Zoo opening hours page explains how to ask about a date. A live opening schedule, including last-entry times, is not published here.

The zoo day planner calculates a time allowance rather than an actual route. It does not locate you, measure the grounds or select a safe walking distance for you. You decide whether the inputs fit your circumstances, and you should leave room for conditions that arithmetic cannot predict.

We do not provide emergency assistance through a form or chat. Nor does the website certify physical accessibility or promise the presence of a particular animal or facility. Ask about a specific requirement before relying on it for travel; the accessibility page separates website access from questions about a physical visit.

A message is not an order.

Nothing is sold or paid for on this site. There is no cart, checkout or account, and no payment or card data is requested. Sending an Indianapolis Zoo admission inquiry, using chat or receiving a submission acknowledgment does not reserve admission or create an order.

A figure shown in planning content is an estimate or an illustration, not a binding quote. A total produced by the calculator is a time estimate, not an admission amount. No number on a planning worksheet is evidence of a ticket category, discount or available capacity.

An inquiry becomes an order only through a separate, express agreement that identifies what is being purchased and the applicable price and conditions, accepted through the purchase process communicated for that transaction. There is no such acceptance or payment process on this website. A request to be contacted is not acceptance of an undisclosed price.

Include your intended date and enough party context to explain your question. Do not send card details or identity documents. If a submission fails or no confirmation reaches you, do not assume that a booking exists. Contact the operator to check that the question was received, rather than submitting a payment in a message field.

A reply to an inquiry answers the matter addressed in that reply; it is not automatically a promise about every part of a visit. Ask for clarification if a response does not settle something your plans depend on. These terms make no general response-time guarantee for visit inquiries.

Ask for the current admission basis.

No separate planning fee or admission amount is quoted on this website. That does not assert that admission or planning assistance is free. The currency for any admission information discussed through an inquiry is USD; an amount must be expressly identified before it can be treated as a price proposal.

Request current admission information for the date and party you intend to bring. A price can depend on the applicable admission terms and the details of the proposed visit. Changing the date or party context can mean that earlier information no longer answers the revised question. Do not infer a discount from a photograph of a group.

The Indianapolis Zoo tickets page collects the context for an inquiry, not a list of amounts that remain valid indefinitely. Ask what the stated amount includes and whether any conditions or additional charges apply to the arrangement being discussed. We do not publish an invented typical visit cost to fill that gap.

No admission availability or price guarantee arises from opening a page, sending a form or saving an estimate. Any separate transaction needs its own clear terms, including applicable cancellation or refund conditions. This website does not create a refund policy for a sale it does not carry out.

Use the inquiry channels honestly.

You may read the guide and use its tools for lawful visit planning. When sending a message, provide information you are entitled to share and use contact details through which the operator can address your question. Do not impersonate another person or submit a request in their name without authority.

You must not attempt to bypass security, access another visitor's conversation, introduce harmful code or overload the forms with automated submissions. Do not use the site's contact channels for threats, unlawful harassment or unsolicited bulk advertising. These restrictions protect the delivery of ordinary visitor questions, not a right to silence a genuine complaint.

Do not place confidential third-party information, passwords or financial account details in a message. A support token connects a browser to a conversation and should not be shared publicly. If your question involves someone else's access needs, describe the practical requirement without sending unnecessary medical records.

You remain responsible for the content you submit. If you notice an error in a message, send a correction through Contact. If the issue is personal information you want changed or removed from retained records, use the data-request page so the request can be handled as a privacy matter.

Images illustrate a day out.

Rights in this website's text, photographs and design belong to the operator or the relevant rights holders. Marks remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance on a page does not grant a licence to use them as your own branding or to suggest an endorsement.

You may keep personal notes or a copy of planning information for your own visit, subject to applicable law. Do not republish photographs, sell copies of the content or reproduce the website as another service without permission from the relevant rights holder. This does not restrict uses that the law permits without permission.

Photographs are illustrative zoo-day images. They do not document a verified exhibit inventory, confirm a particular species at this address or prove that a pictured bench or path is available to you. A carried bottle, bag or pair of binoculars is not evidence of the site's current entry policy.

Captions and surrounding guidance should be read with that distinction intact. Cropping a caption away and circulating the image as a confirmed facility description can mislead another visitor. Ask about the feature you need rather than using a photograph as a substitute for date-specific information.

A worksheet cannot promise your day.

The website and its general planning content are provided as is and as available, to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted access or that every planning suggestion will fit every visitor. Nothing here guarantees admission, a quoted price, a particular reply time or completion of a visit within a calculated allowance.

The calculator uses this formula: walking minutes = distance in miles ÷ pace in miles per hour × 60. Viewing minutes = stop count × minutes per stop. Total minutes = walking minutes + viewing minutes + break allowance. The displayed total rounds upward to a whole minute; the inputs are yours, not measurements of the zoo.

For example, 1 mile at 2 miles per hour gives 30 walking minutes. Four chosen stops at 10 minutes each add 40 minutes, and a 20-minute break allowance produces 90 minutes. Those values illustrate arithmetic only. They do not describe a recommended route, actual grounds distance or expected visit duration.

Weather and your party's needs can change a plan. Queues and time spent deciding where to go are not automatically included in a distance-and-pace calculation. A positive spare-time result means only that your entered allowance exceeds the calculated total; it is not a guarantee that a visit will fit.

Check current opening and last-entry information before travel. Confirm any requirement essential to your visit directly rather than relying on an old message or a saved page. External links lead to material controlled by others and do not give us control over their accuracy or availability.

These statements do not remove any warranty or consumer protection that applicable law makes mandatory. The absence of a voluntary guarantee is not an exclusion of your statutory rights.

Mandatory rights stay in place.

To the extent applicable law permits, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of general website guidance, an illustrative photograph or a visitor-entered planning estimate. The site is not a confirmation of travel arrangements, and a worksheet result should not be treated as a promise on which a separate purchase depends.

No monetary liability cap is stated here. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits responsibility for fraud, wilful misconduct or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Where a legal protection applies despite a disclaimer, that protection prevails.

You retain statutory consumer rights and any applicable privacy rights. These terms do not require a waiver of a complaint, a legal remedy or a right of access to a regulator. They also do not turn consent to optional storage into a condition of receiving a response to an ordinary inquiry.

If information on the website has caused a problem, describe the page and the statement involved when contacting the operator. Keep relevant correspondence so the issue can be assessed. This practical request is not a new deadline for making a claim and does not shorten any period provided by law.

Protecting access for visitors.

Access to a form, chat or other website function may be restricted where use threatens security, disrupts the service or breaches the acceptable-use terms. A harmful automated submission pattern may be blocked without waiting for an exchange of messages. Access may also be interrupted for maintenance or a technical fault.

A restriction on website access is not a decision about a separate admission arrangement. There is no visitor account or paid website subscription to terminate here. These terms do not authorize withholding rights that the law requires the operator to honour.

Ending a chat or restricting a tool does not automatically erase previously submitted information. The privacy notice explains retained records and their periods. You can still direct a data request to the published email address, including when a browser cannot operate the form.

If you think a restriction is mistaken, contact the operator with a short description of what happened and the page involved. Do not attempt to bypass a block by flooding another channel. No promise is made that a particular website feature will remain available indefinitely.

Law and dispute handling.

These terms are governed by the law of IN, United States, with disputes heard in the courts of INDIANAPOLIS. Mandatory legal protections still apply. Where applicable law gives you the right to bring a dispute in another court, these terms do not remove that right.

Contacting the operator can help identify and resolve a disagreement, but these terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or make an informal complaint a condition of exercising a statutory right. Explain which inquiry or page the issue concerns and the correction or outcome you are seeking.

For personal-data matters, US state privacy law applies, including California's CCPA/CPRA and the other state laws in force. The GDPR sections in the privacy notice are written for visitors who reach the site from Europe. The notice, rather than these website-use terms, explains the handling of personal information.

You may complain to your state Attorney General and, in California, to the California Privacy Protection Agency. The governing-law wording does not remove a right to contact a relevant privacy regulator. A data request is answered within 7 days; that commitment is separate from the absence of a general visit-inquiry response-time guarantee.

The date identifies this version.

Changes to these terms are announced by publishing the revised wording on this page and updating the effective and last-updated date at the top. Review the current version when returning to send a new inquiry. A stored copy may describe an earlier version of the website.

Revised website terms do not retrospectively turn an inquiry into an order or rewrite a separate agreement already made. Where the law requires additional notice or consent for a change, that requirement still applies. The effective date does not establish current opening hours or current admission availability.

Storage choices remain governed by the controls described in the cookie statement. A revision to these terms is not an affirmative permission to use optional storage. You can reopen those controls using Manage storage choices in the footer without accepting any new advertising purpose merely by reading this page.

Ask about the wording you rely on.

Send questions about these terms to Indianapoliszoo, trading at indianapoliszoo.us, at [email protected]. You can also call (317) 630-2040. Quote the section heading or number so the question can be addressed without guessing which statement you mean.

For a visit question, use the contact page and state the intended date. For a request about retained personal information, use Your Data Request. Do not attach payment information to either kind of message; neither channel completes an admission purchase.

If a page or control is difficult to use, report the barrier through the contact details above or follow the website accessibility guidance. Give the page name and the action that failed. A screenshot can be useful only after private details have been removed; a password or identity document is not needed to explain a website problem.
